Great review!! You're right, it's not the best, but it's definitely underrated (not like The Elder though!). Tracks like What Makes The World Go Round, Two Sides Of The Coin are truly top-notch, not to mention (as you said) Shandi and Naked City... maybe the only weak point is She's So European...

Finally a review from someone who, like me, has been fed up with the Iron Maiden's repetitiveness for at least the last 10 years! Well done, I share your judgment.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who commented. Roby, this album synthesizes the best of both periods; I couldn't tell you if it's better from the first or the second (but I honestly prefer the first because I find it more spontaneous). Antoniodeste, it's true that Thrackattack is less digestible, but it doesn't joke around either. Well, I think that remastered versions are at least decent, given the meager content of the original CD versions. But in my case, I'm just a fool who bought them all... remastered...

Beautiful album, with phenomenal songs, although I absolutely prefer Love Hunter. David Coverdale is a legend, not superior, not inferior, on par with Ian Gillan (in my humble opinion).
