Broadsword and the Beast is the masterpiece of Jethro Tull's 80s, along with Crest Of A Knave. In my opinion, Beastie is not of medium level, but high, just as I do not agree with your judgment on Flying Colours and Slow Marching Band, two passionate pieces that are definitely better than everything Jethro does in Under Wraps.
