Great review for an amazing album that I literally adore. Ah, the early Grand Funk, so bloodily '70s... but even with Craig Frost they'll do wonders! An explosive band.

Yes, I agree, the guides are often too subjective (how can one give a 1 to A Passion Play?). I have the new version, the big one with the wrinkled face of In The Court Of The Crimson King on the cover, written by the same author Cesare Rizzi. Here he seems to want to correct the course and remedy the nonsense written in the little booklet you have (the one with the giant, which I also had). I got confused with another book, which mentioned Canterbury (in fact, there’s no trace of it here). Another thing came to mind... shamefully, they don’t appear on www.progarchives.com! boo!

I too, like Psychopompe, discovered them thanks to Rizzi. What an extraordinary formation, with just a hint of the obscure (in the sense of hard-to-find) that makes them fascinating. I really liked the album, I've placed the review among my favorites! A small question, Giona... do you find them as "Canterbury-esque" as Cesare Rizzi says in the prog guide?

Nice review, but it only redeems itself with Dopamine. The album left me extremely disappointed. I wouldn't define Fused as a fusion: rather, both Iommi and Hughes are burnt out!
