I watched the movie with Giovanna Mezzogiorno and I liked it a lot. Usually, when you watch the movie, you don't feel like reading the book anymore, because then you already know how it ends.

Here I am re-voting it: beautiful atmospheres, super relaxing, but it’s not really my kind of thing, I don’t see any substance, any backbone. Maybe it depends on my musical inclination.

I have to say that this review didn't excite me much either.
Horace Walpole Il Castello di Otranto
Voto:
Truly an excellent review, and I agree with the rating of the work. Although a forerunner of the so-called gothic novel, The Castle of Otranto is certainly not the best example of the genre, but perhaps more of a germination phase of the genre that paved the way for English pre-romanticism. Nevertheless, an enjoyable book and, for its time, revolutionary.
George Harrison All Things Must Pass
Voto:
It's not that the good George couldn't emerge at the beginning; it's that he was contractually limited to writing no more than one-sixth of the album. So out of the 10 songs typically included in a Beatles LP, he would write one, and when there were 12 songs or more, he could write two (Abbey Road, White Album, etc.). This is undoubtedly George Harrison's best work, and also my favorite. Beware of Darkness deserves a standing ovation on its own. And finally, a review that does it justice!
