This review may have convinced the Academy in awarding the Oscar(R) to Dario Marianelli for Best Original Score ("Atonement").

@Hetzer: it’s just an ironic nod to the delicate “keyboard flurries” that characterize the song. As for the “sviolinata,” let it be clear that it’s not meant to imply that they are the best progressive band (which is a subjective matter), but rather - given their career, in many ways parallel to that of the genre - the most representative. Thanks for the votes. ;-)
