Hi, I'm jet, it’s true what you say even though in Hendrix's time there wasn't the same obsession with technique as today. In the '70s, there were Blackmore in Deep Purple and Uli Roth in Scorpions who became guitar heroes, but they left behind great music and memorable pieces, not to mention the trio of John McLaughlin, Paco de Lucía, and Al Di Meola, and even (even before those I mentioned) Frank Zappa. But they all used their exquisite technique to leave music behind; today, what do these technical monsters that spring up like mushrooms leave us? Absolutely nothing.

Undying, you’ve said something ridiculous too by comparing two guitarists like Gilmour and Malmsteen who frankly can’t really be compared; at most you can do it with Blackmore. As for the soul, that’s your opinion. Listen to Rising Force; it’s not just a technical exercise, there’s a strong classical spirit and great inspiration. Your judgment is too superficial and the comparison is completely unfortunate.

I agree with Marco, that piece sounds amazing, even though the original is something else. At first listen, it almost gives the impression of being on the level of Malmsteen, but if you listen to how he plays it in Rising Force, you'll notice the differences, especially in sound retention, but also in execution speed. Anyway, he's really great; humanly, I don't think it can be played much better than this. Malmsteen back then was inhuman, don't you agree, Marco?!
Ozzy Osbourne Bark At The Moon

Absolutely misleading review, this is a great work, with beautiful songs and excellent guitar. It just has the misfortune of debuting after the masterpieces made with Rhoads, compared to which it is definitely inferior, but that said, it is one of the best albums of the madman.
Ozzy Osbourne No Rest For The Wicked

A somewhat uninspiring and unremarkable album with a still immature Wylde. Much better than the often criticized Bark at the Moon, which, in my opinion, is unjustly so.

How to sodomize a beautiful album with comments as unfathomable as idiocy. I haven't read a single review of Diary of a Madman, not one! Well, I'll do it: stunning album, the true masterpiece of the Osbourne-Rhoads duo for its lyrics and compositions of strong classical inspiration. Rhoads' contribution is absolutely crucial; all the music revolves around him, the true beacon of the group. Good review, a great album that evokes so much nostalgia.

Great! We will all meet to comment on Yngwie's albums, but we owe an apology to Aniel; we have abused this space and his patience! Sorry.

Yngwie Malmsteen Rising Force

I believe this comment is absolutely out of place when referring to Rising Force, while I can agree with you regarding Unleash the Fury or War to the End.

Honestly, I prefer to be constructive rather than polemical now. At the beginning, I was wrong to have that attitude, especially since your review is beautiful and well-written. My initial judgment was absolutely wrong, unfair, and I take responsibility for it. So I’m counting on your opinion about the site. Bye!
