David Lee Roth Eat 'Em And Smile
Voto:
Great choice Marco, this is definitely the best of Roth's solo career and Steve Vai sounds absolutely divine, even Van Halen publicly praised his guitar work. My favorite is Ladies' Nite in Buffalo. The review is cryptic, but it conveys to the reader the key information to recognize this CD as an absolute must-have! By the way Marco, when you can, comment on my review of Malmsteen's Alcatrazz, I'm waiting for you! Bye

SHAME ON YOU FOR OFFENDING OUR PRIME MINISTER WITH DEFAMATORY STATEMENTS: YOU WILL BE TRIED FOR DIRECTLY AND WITHOUT DISCOUNT ON THE PUNISHMENT BECAUSE YOU ARE PATHETIC. BE ASHAMED.
Joe Satriani The extremist
Voto:
Of course, it’s a very subjective judgment: between Coltrane and Malmsteen, you can’t really draw a parallel, with Satriani, obviously you can, even though they play completely different music and everyone has their own preferences: today, I personally prefer Satriani's playing style, which also stood out beautifully at the G3 with Vai and Malmsteen, especially in his own pieces, less so in the trio ones, in my opinion. The discussion changes if I have to evaluate how Malmsteen played and composed at the beginning of his career; there he demonstrated extraordinary talent, it’s a shame he then ruined it with his own hands. Bye and see you soon!
Joe Satriani, Eric Johnson, Steve Vai G3 - Live In Concert
Voto:
The Di Marzio pickups are very good, Steve Vai uses the Evolution, Malmsteen the HS-3, then it depends on the guitar you want to install them in, but the downside is the price; they are quite expensive. I wouldn't recommend them for a budget electric guitar. I'm not sure if Momo Corse can give you more information or advice, like with the Squier which (it's true) is a great example of how you can purchase a quality product at a reasonable cost without giving up the brand, in this case Fender!
AA.VV. Bat Head Soup: a tribute to Ozzy
Voto:
In my opinion, Mr. Crowley was played very well; if you think about it, Aniel, this piece already has a strong neoclassical vocation at its core, just like Revelation Mother Earth. The fact that he gave a personal touch to the piece (without absolutely distorting it, it must be emphasized) should be considered a merit.

I think that in this album, Joe Satriani made a difference when it comes to guitar.

Of course not, Alfredo, it referred to someone who is and will remain anonymous!
Alcatrazz feat.Yngwie J.Malmsteen Live Sentence

The truly pathetic thing is being unable to reason about him without resorting to the usual bar talk, some of which may be true, others less so, but which nonetheless reveal a clear lack of substance: either it's said that he's a brainless idiot, or it's claimed that some clone of his is superior to him. Well, this is a limitation, at least from my humble point of view; think what you want!
