Great review, especially the historical context. Vinnie Moore, meaning what Malmsteen could have become with a little less self-importance and a bit more evolution.

Stunning review for a stunning band. But after Rocket Science, when will they reunite? Henderson seems too busy with his solo career, but it’s with his loyal partner Willis that he has always given his best. Mind-blowing technique that is mortifying for anyone who thinks they know how to play an instrument, combined with an inventiveness that borders on total genius: jazz, blues, hard rock, funky, all mixed in a crazy version. Henderson is one of those guitarists who can seamlessly transition from one genre to another as if he has always played it, and Willis creates impossible rhythms with his bass. Stellar!!!!

P.S. It’s nice to also remember the Players project, even if Henderson's contribution is more limited and less crazy compared to what was offered with Tribal Tech.

Malmsteen was probably one of the most talented guitarists this world has ever seen. It's frustrating to see his lack of evolution and the deepening of his instrument skills that one would expect from a young man with such great hopes. Instead, he, perhaps blinded by money and success, settled for endlessly repeating the same things and has been surpassed by a myriad of musicians, even neoclassical ones, among whom I remember the clone Joe Stump.
