great recovery: he was a hell of a handsome guy, even though the music was truly too indebted to Alice in Chains Unplugged.

You didn't understand. You can "dare" to criticize as much as you want; in fact, well-reasoned critiques are always welcome. If you do it by copying a phrase and adding a "vaffanculo," you certainly don't do justice to your intelligence. The reference to "sweet oblivion" (an epitaph title, alas) by the Screaming Trees was general and mainly referred to the criticism (and this is clearly evident from the comment on the album with Campbell). It wasn't a jab directed at Debaser members. The comment I made about the lack of reviews on the STs came after your "vaffanculo" and was just an invitation to reflect.

@Trellheim. Thank you for the elegant comment (a definite display of great class). Is there a problem? I was referring to the fact that almost no one remembers Mark Lanegan's past (until proven otherwise, no one on debaser has thought to review a single album by this band), so much so that now, on the mid-price reissues of the Screaming Trees' albums, there's a sticker on the cover saying "featuring Mark Lanegan from QOTSA," which is frankly offensive considering the historical importance of the Conner brothers' band and that the QOTSA themselves have drawn inspiration from them in many instances (just think of any "The sky is fallin'").
@ramona Of course "nearly lost you" is also on "sweet oblivion," but I was referring to the fact that it became a small hit thanks to the boost from the movie and not because of that album, which is excellent by the way.
