Certainly controversial... a bit like "let it be" by the Beatles for the internal contrasts, which culminated in Butler's departure (the guitar parts on "The Power" are by Anderson, for example, right after his exit)... I fully agree with the reviewer, but my heart compels me to give 5 stars to an album that I have loved viscerally. Very nice is the part of the review that talks about literary influences: I also find a lot of certain things by Kureishi in it; I would add that impossibility of being normal that unites them to The Smiths.

"a tear-jerking vocal interpretation," "scary melodic lines"........but how much nonsense have you written?

I am compelled to quote the immense William again: "We few, we happy few, we band of brothers." Given that here the majority consists of troglodytes...

"that eunuch one of friend Marc Almond"..poor Marc. I don't think he uses them much, but he should still have them!

A must-have album for Tool lovers: the version of "pushit" is fantastic, but the rendition of "no quarter" also enhances the magical, esoteric touch of the original piece. The richly detailed booklet is also unmissable.

Odradek replied with a dismissive tone: the one with the arrogance is you, who’s pontificating about everyone and everything. Since I received a lot of 1s on my review, and some have even accused me of not having listened to the album at all, I responded. This is my opinion. Period.
