Keith Jarrett The Carnegie Hall Concert
Voto:
It’s in my cart of urgent expenses: this live at Carnegie Hall. Hal, with invaluable style and expertise, confirms what has been whispered: this is the natural continuation of the discourse begun with "Radiance." The pieces shorten, fragment into micro-units where one can find both the bolder and experimental Jarrett (as in "Inside Out" and "Always Let Me Go," even if in trio version) and the Jarrett capable of pulling out melodies and notes of seductive and ethereal purity from the hat. I can’t wait to put it in the player.
Wim Mertens The Belly of an Architect

Extremely engaging music from the Belgian artist, great choice. The triptych suggested by trellheim is truly a must-have at all costs; this feels a bit like a best of, so I’ll limit it to one.

Sting The Soul Cages
Voto:
Honesty, balance, and objectivity are the added value of this review, in addition to the usual expertise: and these are the most suitable tools for handling a multifaceted artist like Sting, capable of very valid performances but also of some cheesy missteps. I only have the dream of the blue turtles, which is truly very beautiful.
