Well, Exciter doesn't work very well, and it's not a matter of arrangements. The sounds and atmospheres are, in the end, the same as "Ghost in My Life" by Sylvian (back when he was still with Japan, from "Tin Drum" in '81), but Sylvian's piece is a great piece, it works just as it is, while half of the tracks on Exciter simply lack that compositional quality and bore you. The rhythm saves Playing the Angel, which otherwise, despite some good ideas, would undoubtedly be a piece of crap.

Guys, come on, let’s keep the term "carciofo" exclusively on 013, please. After all, I coined it last year on that site FOR that site :D These last 2 albums don’t convince me, there’s nothing I can do about it, the songs just don’t work. 3 at most.
