The Vasco of back then was undoubtedly better, and anyway (I speak as a non-fan of Vasco, but as a simple music listener) some comments made about him seem really senseless to me. The hypocrisy of criticizing an album without having listened to it is evident. It's true that Vasco is no longer Vasco; I'm the first to say it. But there are people who give a 1 to the early albums just because they consider the latest Vasco, who has nothing to do with the one from back then, a freak show. Think before you shoot off at random.

Very beautiful review. I don't know them, but from how you've described them, I classify them in a genre of my own: "marginal musicians," for their raw, gray sound that truly evokes the mysterious back streets of the big cities.

You could also open up a bit more, try listening to Battiato for example, maybe start with those that are easier to listen to, then move on to the ones that are a bit more challenging.
Recommendation: "La Cura," "Nomadi" (which is a song).

Ligabue is another one who only grows big with his image, because he can't offer anything else, just sadness: only 46 years old and 16 years of career, and he already doesn't know how to renew himself (starting from his second album), an imaginary singer who makes music with illusion, and the problem is that the vast majority fall for it.
