An interesting review for a curious layman of rap like myself.

Please let me introduce myself, I'm a man of wealth and taste....
I've always wondered if Mick Jagger, when he wrote this song, had in mind the wonderful book by Bulgakov "Il maestro e la margherita". Does anyone know anything about it?
Ennio Morricone The Mission
Voto:
Always nice to hear about Morricone, he is a true genius. I miss this soundtrack, even though I’ve seen the movie and I seem to remember that the music was remarkable.

Really interesting page, I didn't know this story about Robin Frederick, let alone that the song was hers. The album states that the song was by a friend of Drake's, but it's not clear from the English text, and there's no mention of R. Frederick.
Ornette Coleman Double Quartet Free Jazz - A collective improvisation

I miss this one by Ornette; maybe one day I'll fill the gap. Welcome to the club of leper-reviewers-of-Ornette...

I think that with the father, who I believe is one of the geniuses of songwriting of this century, there really is no comparison. It's a bit like with De André's son... when one is the child of certain people, they inherit some heavy legacies. She seems really nice though; she must have taken more from Jane than from Serge, which is aesthetically a good thing ;D.
Bill Evans Turn Out The Stars

Great suggestion, I wasn't aware of its existence. We'll talk about it again when I win the lottery.
