I will refrain from commenting on the group because I don't know jack about post-1990 black metal (I stop at Venom and Celtic Frost). However, the review, well-written, intrigued me and I found a consideration that isn't mine but that I agree with from leftwing.it: one of the events involving the aforementioned band pertains to a so-called Polish affair. Essentially, during a show in Warsaw, they "show up with goat skulls impaled on torches, 80 liters of blood from the same animal [poor thing, what did it ever do?] dripping on stage, and four crucified models. During the show, one of the models, consenting, faints and has to be assisted. Following this, there’s a complaint for obscenity, expulsion, and seizure of the recording." The author continues, with a critical tone toward certain individuals, noting that "the same trick (crucifixion) staged by Her Fitness-ness Madonna is hailed as a ‘genius provocation’ (she won't be expelled, even if she were to perform in the Vatican)": in my opinion (and who cares, you'll say) the journalist (or publicist, who knows?) is right.

Great album and great review, as I’ve already said. However, one cannot forget the splendid "Tristesses De La Lune," one of the most beautiful songs with a female voice (if not the most beautiful) I have ever listened to. Congratulations Big D!!! PS: why is the cover I have slightly different (the text is horizontal and not vertical)?
