Hello everyone, beautiful and not-so-beautiful.. This is my first Un-review so if it totally stinks, please forgive me or... maybe not...
Anyway, while flipping through the reviews I was a bit surprised to find that there were albums from Europe but not the wings of tomorrow... I mean... before listening to this album, I wasn't much of a believer in Europe. Okay, I had only listened to the famous final countdown and yes, it's a nice song but I dunno... it seemed a bit too... too... commercial... like a one-hit-wonder band...
As I prepared to insert the CD into my player I didn't expect much... I thought: there's not even "the final countdown"... who knows, it might be the usual songs from an '80s pop band... Instead... here's the surprise.. The player starts and "Stormwind" convinces with its beautiful melody and its energy.. in short, nothing to envy to Final C. Okay, I said, let's hear the second track.. And here, my dear friends, is the surprise with a killer opening riff with a guitar that seems to scream.. but in a strange way.. like the scream of a can of pineapples (gives you a good idea, right?!)... indescribable.. "Scream of Anger", this second inimitable track is surely the most Hard oriented episode of the album composed of songs between AOR and Hard Rock leaning more toward the 1st than the 2nd genre except in this episode.. The album then continues with the beautiful ballad "Open your heart" (which can only be a ballad with such a title...)... And so on until the end for a total of 10 magnificent tracks (some more, some less)...
But seriously, why the hell are you wasting time reading this Un-abomination when you could be rushing to grab a copy of this magnificent album ?????????
