Papa Roach Infest
Voto:
maybe it’s my fault...sorry...
Red Hot Chili Peppers Blood Sugar Sex Magik
Voto:
that it was released in the same year as Nirvana's "Nevermind" and Metallica's self-titled album could be anything but a coincidence...
Limp Bizkit Chocolate Starfish And The Hot Dog Flavored Water
Voto:
Strangely, when I listen to "the one" and "it'll be ok," I think of a beautiful tall "nu metal girl" speeding on a motorcycle through tree-lined avenues.
Metallica Metallica
Voto:
MTV should do a mash-up of "Sad But True," "Did My Time" by Korn, and "Between Angels and Insects" by Papa Roach.

sorry if I gave myself a self-vote for the review, sometimes too much pride hurts. oh mary93 don’t worry, other times I’ll be less one-track-minded. bye.

Maybe nu metal 4ever is right. But it’s also true that Kiki is unbearable, even by mistake.

You're quite the tease, mary93! It's just that the company that shares the linkin with me is quite large.

kiki? why aren't you writing anymore, ignorant cock-eater? if you're there, make a sound, and think about boosting your culture instead of suffocating me with your k.
Papa Roach Getting Away With Murder
Voto:
Well, just like last time:
"The major label debut of Papa Roach is what the works of Linkin Park are not: transcendent, cultured, straightforward, violent/rap-oriented without being cheesy.
Sure, the sources of inspiration are abundant (Faith No More, Rage Against The Machine, Nirvana, Fugazi), but the Cockroach from Vacaville reworks them in an original way and adapts them to its own state of mind, as demonstrated by Jacoby Shaddix's vocals and Jerry Horton's guitar riffs.
Noteworthy are the three hits (Between Angels And Insects, Last Resort, Broken Home), Snakes and Revenge with their screeching interludes, Thrown Away, and the title track.
However, I'm sorry that the subsequent albums by the Roach, while well-crafted, do not match Infest in emotional impact...
Rating: 4/5."
Metallica St. Anger

But is it true that Metallica did better with (gotta) kill 'em all, master of puppets, and the one with the "title" like Jay-Z? Let's hope they don't really end up like Linkin Park and the current Red Hot Chili Peppers (what a coincidence, all three bands are from Los Angeles). Plus, James Hetfield is too old to do rap metal like Linkin.
