Hal: did you know that Splas(h) was founded by a fabric designer from Varese, a friend of my father's? Beppo Spagnoli is a music culture organizer who contributed a lot to launching Fresu in his early years, when he wasn't famous. I haven't heard this record yet, but a pairing of Uri Caine and Fresu must be truly something unique.

The only misfortune of Van de Sfroos is that he has become too entangled with the lanzichenecchi of the Lombardo-Veneto league (formerly Lega Nord) – they are unspeakable. He, on the other hand, knows how to create beautiful lyrics and beautiful music.
