Vamba Il Giornalino di Gian Burrasca

Flawless analysis. I was gifted it when I was 8 years old, in this edition with the green hardcover... read and re-read many times. I agree that, as entertaining and rich in reflections on the adult world seen through a child's eyes, it hasn't aged as well as Pinocchio. The TV version with Rita Pavone inspires me with tenderness (even though I've never been overly fond of the tiny singer from Turin), while the film with Alvaro and his farting buddies made me burst into laughter... a classic late summer evening film with a fan, chilled coke, open shorts, flip-flops, and free burps.

A dignified author and performer, but I agree with Dosankos: in 1980, Italy produced better. To the list, I would add Mimmo Cavallo (Siamo meridionali) and a Vasco Rossi not yet commercialized (Colpa d'Alfredo).
Mia Martini Nel Mondo, Una Cosa
Voto:
Great artist somewhat overlooked on these pages. I prefer her in these 70s productions, although I also appreciate the later ones very much. Here, I would say there are no fillers. I notice you didn't mention Ivano Fossati along with the Prince and Faber: intentional omission?
La Repubblica Saper Scrivere

I can't stand Baricco, his silly little novels, and his "Scuola Holden," from which probably come out kids in his own image and likeness. Except for Fazio, Dandini, and Littizzetto, who at least offer intelligent proposals. Bollani is great and also likable. As for this work in pamphlet form, I find it as useful as an encyclopedia written by the Trota.
Luis Buñuel Tristana

Never heard of it, it's imperative to make amends, especially since there is the divine Deneuve...
King Crimson The Power To Believe

I'm not attracted to it...

The Age of Plastic. (In the sense of Plastica, not Plastic Bertrand).

"Metallica Music Machine"?
Alessandro Piperno Con Le Peggiori Intenzioni
Voto:
I haven't read it, but I think Piperno is one of the few interesting authors in contemporary Italian fiction.
Radiohead The King Of Limbs: Live from The Basement

Far from being finished, and in any case, even when they're not at their best, they remain one of the best groups currently active.
