You made me remember a trip along the east coast of Sicily from Taormina to Capo Passero: this very album was playing on the car radio.

Evocative and autumnal review. Rating the album on faith: Knopfler always does things with great care, but I don’t know if I can handle 20 tracks. From his solo work, I only have a live album where he performs songs from the Straits and "Golden Heart": the latter I've never managed to listen to in full.
