Libabue is a top-level rocker, perhaps the best in the Italian scene .Embè Vasco where do you put him? Vasco Rossi is definitely and undoubtedly great too, but Liga is more of a poet. He fills stadiums, writes songs that mark lives, generates emotions, and even in this "Arriverderci Mostro", all of it reoccurs.
Okay, tell us about the album..
It starts with "Quando canterai la tua canzone", a fantastic track. A rock rush that leaves you breathless: how can you resist it? Personally, the track "ma scegli tu fra botte e rime e scegli tu fra inizio e fine, scegli tu ma scegli tu per primo..." moved me a lot, a sort of anthem for the freedom of choice.
Other tracks that generate emotions are:
- "Ci sei sempre stata", a stunning ballad.
- "un colpo all'anima" a track I've worn out
Okay, but overall, how is this album? Don't list all the songs for me..
Of course, I mention some songs, but the level of the album is high: you find rock in every one of its highest expressions..romantic, passionate, energetic, muscular, granitic, sunny, angry (as in the wonderful "Caro il mio Francesco)... in short, it's all there.
A masterpiece then?
Definitely, listen to it if you haven't already.
