Gino Paoli L'Ufficio Delle Cose Perdute
Voto:
Great review, which I agree with. Between the 1980s and the early 1990s, Gino Paoli experienced a sort of second youth, with a series of albums that received excellent critical and public acclaim, also demonstrating considerable maturity as an interpreter. I feel sorry for the shadowy period he went through in the 1970s, even though he produced some significant albums, such as "Le due facce dell'amore," "Amare per vivere," and especially "I semafori rossi non sono Dio" and "Il mio mestiere."

Great album that blends country with progressive. A tribute worthy of Gram Parsons.
Marco Travaglio Lo Stato Montificio
Voto:
I often read Travaglio's editorials, well-written and well-documented: he hasn't lost his bite, despite Berlusconi's eclipse for much of 2012. The only concern is about the frequency of these editorial appointments, which risks making him appear a bit inflated.

An excellent album by an excellent group, although it is falling short compared to the outstanding levels of their previous works.

It's true, it often happens that "B-sides" turn out to be more interesting than the tracks on the other side of the record. However, I've never really warmed up to Nirvana. The last time I listened to them, a couple of years ago, I found myself asking what I was doing.
The Doors L.A. Woman
Voto:
"LA Woman" is the Doors album I prefer, probably because of the decadent atmosphere that permeates it... The "God of rock and roll" (to quote a line from Oliver Stone's film) has descended to earth to reveal himself as profoundly human. And "Riders On the Storm" is the perfect epitaph for Jim Morrison's artistic and personal journey.

But is it sunny in the sense that it’s just one?

I mostly agree with Dosankos. A commendable attempt to go back to the past, but here and there you can taste the flavor of reheated soup.
