He resembles the poor Mino Reitano... of course Mino sang better and was less full of himself.

I'm sorry to read these things about an artist I have always appreciated for her seriousness... it's hard to believe that such a refined and demanding interpreter would waste time with the ugliness of Tiziano Fesso and Cesare Cremonini and in lascivious poses like any Giusi Ferreri; perhaps she is going through the classic "mid-life crisis." In any case, in my opinion, the apotheosis of bad taste was reached by Vanoni, duetting with Jovanotti in "Accendi una luna in cielo" (consider that the original included the poor Vinicius de Moraes!). Among the aforementioned ladies, the one who is aging with the most dignity is none other than Mina, despite the lack of memorable songs for years. To avoid getting upset, it’s better to remember them for what they gave us.

It may be the one hundred twenty-fifth review I've read of this album, but it has the merit of not being trivial and adding something new: in short, it's worth reading.
As for the album, aside from one less successful passage ("On The Run," but then again, pure electronics was a minefield) and a few stretches ("Money," "Us and Them"), it has always amazed me with its perfection, combined with the relevance and universality of the lyrics, although other works ("Atom Heart Mother" and "Wish You Were Here") evoke more intense emotions in me.

This time you find me largely in agreement. My last university exam was on the history of anarchist thought, reinterpreted critically by an anarchist. Anarchist thinkers were generally good from a speculative point of view, but inevitably ended up creating unlivable worlds. I read this a year before that exam; at the time, I appreciated it mainly for its anti-authoritarian and anti-militaristic charge, but I find Max Stirner infinitely sharper, who took speculation to an extreme level, arriving at a pessimism and individualism that make Hobbes seem like an idealist. He saw the totalitarian potential of Marxist thought and the highly opportunistic nature of any union between individuals. Another interesting thinker, albeit unknown to outsiders, is Bruno Rizzi, a critic of "bureaucratic collectivism."
It's a shame about the Bar Sport conclusion and the personal note: speaking in the third person is a sign of an excessively developed ego and it also brings bad luck (we all know how Julius Caesar and Napoleon expressed themselves and how they ended up); moreover, positioning oneself as a savior of the homeland after the age of 24-25 is, as we say back home, an attitude of "sburoni."

Dignified, better than all the crap that airs on MTV, but they've always left me feeling very "cold."

After 3 years and 100 songs, they only chose 12: it almost feels like an achievement, even though they could have easily settled for 11, 10, 9, 8... 0, and it wouldn't have made much difference. Etymology question: does meteorismo come from meteora?

I read it many years ago in high school, and I liked it a lot, but today I don't remember much... However, I was very struck by the character of Polina, so elusive, and the book's ending, which is not so conclusive. It was right in the middle of my Dostoevskian period (I read, among other things, The Double and Crime and Punishment).
