LA RECENSIONE

My hands sweat testosterone as I review "Video Phone", the fifth single from Beyoncé featuring Lady Gaga.

Catchy song, quick chorus that sticks in your memory, and nothing more you might say. I partly agree with you, it could be the usual urban track with a high level of flashiness, but the fact is it's sung by Beyoncé and that totally changes the perspective. That's right, because Miss Jay-Z can afford it, indeed. We already know she can sing divinely if she wants and she has an extraordinary voice. She is also an elegant woman with strong principles. If there's a pop star who fully deserves to make a splash in the charts, it is undoubtedly her. Plus, she dances like a goddess and is as beautiful "as a window that illuminates my pillow" to quote Jovanotti.

What can I do, by now you've understood that I've fallen at her feet, and this morning watching the clip for "Video Phone" I was in seventh heaven. With those sinful moves, those skimpy outfits that highlighted her voluptuousness, with that orgasmic voice... damn, it was all just like my erotic dreams! Really a great way to start the day.

The only downside is the presence of Lady Gaga who, with those dumb moves and her goofy voice, almost ruined my beautiful dream. But what is my gorgeous sexy panther doing next to such a mess?? I know the answer, it's an unnecessary commercial move that Beyo didn't need at all, but I overlook it and fully enjoy this generous gift from Mother Nature. Sure, the song gets old by the third listen, but that's fine with me because pop is also about this and she knows how to interpret it marvelously.
