Silver Mt. Zion He Has Left Us Alone But Shafts Of Light Sometimes Grace The Corner Of Our Rooms
Voto:
great review, but I have never shared apocalyptic judgments... great music exists and will continue to exist, even if it won't be what we're used to...
The Knife Silent Shout
Voto:
beautiful album...it puts me in a good mood every time I listen to it...
Deep Purple Concerto For Group And Orchestra
Voto:
heavy to listen to... but an album that makes history... regardless of the beauty or lack thereof of the compositions... it's one of the very few albums in which a rock band has delved into classical music without using the orchestra just to make their pieces more harmonious...

And anyway... one can't expect that every group that steps onto the scene must necessarily create something new, otherwise they are nobody... there are those who manage to make the leap, to shake up the music world with new things... but still, they can never be completely isolated from what has already been done... there are those who instead remain embedded in a certain context and offer a personal perspective on certain things already said by others... this doesn't mean they are just copying... as long as one manages to say something, even with a language already written by others, they have the legitimacy to express it.

miiiiiiiiiii...I only listened to their first album (at least I think it was the first) three incredibly enjoyable tracks...I’ll go look for the rest right away...

really beautiful...it's true that movies like Ferro 3 were much better, but it's definitely a nice film...
Fabrizio De André Storia Di Un Impiegato
Voto:
great review for the most political album, which is perhaps also the most beautiful, of our Fabrizio. If we had not always been on the fringes of the major global record circles, certainly De André would have been a BoDylan in terms of fame and recognition, because in substance, in my opinion, he goes far beyond.

No Orwell, you're not wrong, but they have reedited it masterfully here.
John Zorn Six Litanies for Heliogabalus
Voto:
Yes, Zorn is definitely more known than one might think... especially because, alongside the most absurd works, he has interspersed relatively listenable stuff... a true genius...

Your review really makes me think of My Bloody Valentine... I'll get them...
