Everyone around you may have shouted miracle, generally those who feel Tool are enthusiasts because it's not music accessible to the masses, therefore an intelligent person doesn't judge an album before having listened to it. When I listened to it anyway, I started from the concept that whether it was Tool or not, it was the first time, so my critical ear wasn't straying from the fact that it could have been them playing or someone else... and indeed it sucks for me, but if it gets better I'll let you know, but honestly, it makes me fall asleep... what a shitty end they've had, they've got Carey to save them but the rest of the album is somewhere between good and beautiful...

the band is not overrated because you have to feel Aenima and Lateralus in order to understand their magic and why so many people adore them. You're right about the artwork, but in the case of Tool, the artwork continues the conversation started earlier by the CD, so it’s not just a cool cover but a project created by the band itself to turn their CD into a work of art!!!

What a pointless review!!! You even have the arrogance to say that Tool is the greatest band around; for me, they are, but for others, maybe Tool is just trash... Anyway!! I don't think the CD is a masterpiece like the previous ones, where Tool delighted us with an energy and a truly unique meditation—in fact, I believe only Kyuss were so emotionally engaging. This is undoubtedly crap, not a Tool CD; you can feel it from the very first listen. Anyway, it only makes me sleepy... I hope I’m wrong and maybe I’ll change my mind after the concert!! I already have tickets for Rome, as things change quite a bit live... a Tool concert can make you rethink the last album... but for now, it remains a solid piece of crap!!! I give it a 3 for the technique, which is always at its best.

"acquiesce" and "cum on feel the moise" are fantastic even if they're from a different era. Your review is biased and doesn’t reflect the true identity of the album—in plain words, if this is all there is on de-baser, we need to write another one immediately to do justice to this album. If you don’t like this or don’t consider it the best, you don’t like Oasis. Because a great punk spirit reigns in that band, I don’t know if you realize it, then "Columbia" and "Bring It On Down"? You don’t even like those... well, go screw yourself.
