Texas is The Reason Do You Know Who You Are?

Great, Pier! Welcome! What a coincidence, I was listening to this record half an hour before coming to De-baser and finding this review... : ) Beautiful! Maybe less original than it could have been, but beautiful nonetheless. And you've really described it wonderfully.

The reviews of Dream Theater are (almost!) all the same: exceptional here, fabulous there, but what a beautiful piece, what a masterpiece that other one... as usual, though, the reason for such fantastic quality is never understood... who knows...

no, no, no, absolutely disagreed! This is nothing like Franz Ferdinand and the pseudo '80s new wave nonsense that lacks any form of sense. This is honest, humble, great Indie pop; perhaps not innovative, but certainly much more original than the average "album of the month" and other similarly hyped releases. And frankly, your review seems pretty disjointed: you say this work confirms the absolute value of the band, but then you add that it’s so well-packaged that it comes off as soulless. So, does the band's value get confirmed or not? In fact, you also say: the high quality of the tracks still remains positive. So, excuse me, it doesn't make any sense anymore: are these tracks soulless or of high quality? And what does it mean to say ā€œtaken one by oneā€? Because, excuse me, how do you want to take them? It’s not a concept album... I don’t know...

Beautiful beautiful beautiful gorgeous, as usual.. first place on Billboard??!! I saw them opening for Arab Strap in the courtyard of a middle school with no more than 20 people caring about them at all.. think about it! I only heard the electronic one, which for some reason reminds me a lot of Robert Smith.. but it’s cool.

What would be the point of saying it? I know you're wrong, but from your further comment, it honestly seems pointless to waste more breath... damn! For once I don't feel like discussing and debating, like any true Florentine would! Bad. Well, I don’t know why, but in the end, I like you too : ) ...and then it's me who's having a crisis, a big crisis. bye

It's true. When he died, no one noticed, no memories, no elegy, absolutely no disgusting tribute or memorial album. He died alone, Layne, because Seattle rock was no longer in fashion.. maybe it's better this way, huh, at least he wasn't turned into fodder like Kurt Cobain, but at least a magazine could have dedicated an article to him, a show could have done a special.. Nothing. Truly sad.
