U2 How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb

Oh yes... now they give me the impression of a bunch of rich old men who, as such, obviously have nothing more to say. The lyrics laden with "social commitment" are pathetic and trivial, the music is pure craft. There’s no more soul, as you said, it's a style that has now festered, literally becoming a cover of what U2 used to be. What kind of torment could U2 possibly have? What moves their art? Four fat billionaires preaching the cancellation of public debt while owning hotels, pubs, restaurants, and mansions... pathetic. It's impossible to still believe them.

Well, that's kind of (almost) all the reviews on the DTs, I don't know if you noticed.. ; )

Of course I would have finished commenting a long time ago, but there are people who don't respect the opinions of others, and they get angry if I (and others) give a one to the album, which is my sacred right, since I don't like the album and the band (if you do it in one of my reviews... who cares, go ahead! In fact, even better, this way maybe a nice discussion can open up! I'm all for that), and they might even offend me.. so what do you want, since I'm from Florence and I really enjoy and have fun causing a bit of controversy, I respond! Got it, metalhead?? : ) bye!

You know how it is, it’s not like I spend all day listening to the complete discography of Tortoise... I listen to a couple dozen other bands every day, so I've never felt the need to review them; I only brought them up to respond, months ago, to that guy Mauro the boss, who was outraged that I would give a one to this album. The point of mentioning Tortoise was that if someone has heard of and knows of the existence of bands LIKE Tortoise (and I emphasize LIKE Tortoise, meaning they are not the only ones, and certainly their style/genre is not the only one I’m referring to), then they can't possibly give a 5 to an album like this, or at least they have to accept that there’s someone who might even give it a one! Do you get the point of my comment? :))

You convinced me much more than when I read the reviews of Mucchio Selvaggio! Now I'm looking for it right away.

Mmmmmm.. well, the usual unmissable tracks from the old albums.. then the tracks from the last two albums.. I’m right not to go see them.

Ah yes, I instead found the exclusive interview with Bob Dylan in Metal Hammer.. that's where I started to appreciate him; if it's in Metal Hammer, it's a guarantee of quality!
