That's what I said, Burns... Morrison is seen from the perspective created by the Americans...

burns, I'm not a target, I don't talk about music from the '60s and '70s without knowing about the decades that followed.... if that's the case, I listen to Nirvana, who are from the '90s, so what you said is far-fetched... I have my own opinion, the emotions (because music is not an opinion, as you want us to believe...) that the music from that period gives me, aren't the same as those from the '80s, '90s, and 2000s... do we want to make a soap opera? huh burns?

Indeed, whoever watches MTV... what you say about the '90s I don't quite agree with, perhaps because for me the '60s and '70s in terms of music, fashion, and ideology were unparalleled...

C.H.A.R.L.I.E Nokia and Queen didn’t last one season and they were by no means a small group, and that’s been proven... so let’s not exaggerate... And then, since you have it in for the English, just remember that the Americans are no better, you know... don’t think otherwise...

Francis, I agree with you, it's true that today we have come to "divinize" the groups that, let's admit it, have made the history of Rock, if not of Music. But why does this happen? Because today there are no more references, I mean, is there a "musician" or a "musician" who is natural, that is, who is not like Spears, Rihanna, or Shakira... in the '60s and '70s, there was more focus on the quality of the artist than on beauty... examples: Janis Joplin wasn't a sex symbol by any means, but she was a fantastic singer with a unique voice and left a mark in the history of Rock; Pete from The Who isn't "handsome" like Jesse McCartney, but he is a Rock icon; the Beatles weren't "cool" like Take That or Blue, yet look at what they became... do you understand what I mean?

I am one of those "many annoying long-haired people," but I don't go to university, and I certainly don't think I'm "cool." I just see myself as an alternative to people like you who wear brand names (let's be clear, what’s the point of wearing designer shoes if it's not to feel cool and pick up the "chicks," or whatever you call them???)... And I'll tell you, I've been growing my hair for more than a year now, and so far, I haven't "picked up" much, mainly because I don't own Prada shoes... I agree with what you say about the great Who and Lennon, but you see, Morrison didn't behave that way to appear cool (even though the hypocritical people around him who used him would say that...) he did it in protest, he didn't say "Father, I want to kill you; Mother, I want to fuck you" to boast; he did it with cutting charm, and... mind you, "charm" doesn't mean being "cool"... if Jim, dear Francis, appears this way to you it's because, not knowing his art well enough, you focus ONLY on the model that created it in America. Americans have always eliminated anyone who scared them; Lennon was someone who spoke the truth to power and he was shot (still believe the fan story? John was being followed by the FBI during the time he went against Nixon's presidency), Kennedy, the first president to say "I don't want war" (or something like that), was also killed... So I think Jim's ideals and rebellion frightened Americans, and what did they do to protect themselves? They created a model (which is not Jim; Jim is not a model to follow, but a Utopia...) and this model is what you have targeted in your acting, Francis.

Unfortunately, I still have to listen to the album. A year ago, at a stand, I saw a Japanese production of a live performance of "Biglietto...", and now I regret not having bought it! Your review gave me a slight idea of what I can expect from the band, and for this, I give you a 3.5...
Beatles With The Beatles

The sound of this second album is more "robust" than the first "Please Please Me." The Beatles excelled in their first period (POP), in their second period (Psychedelia), and in their third (towards the breakup...) The Fab Four gave "I Wanna Be Your Man" to the Stones, who made it more "Hard"... The Beatles' albums are either 4 or 5... and "With The Beatles" is a 4 like the rec you wrote...

"Festa Mobile" is part of the groups I've put on "hold," meaning I still need to listen to them... Great Gattinator, keep it up!
