The Clash London Calling
Voto:
nickbelane, you exaggerated with the Lennon/McCartney comparison (and I'm saying this as a Beatles fan!)... The Clash... I have the vinyl of "Combat Rock" which includes "Rock In The Casbah" (great track!), personally, I prefer them to the Pistols, because of the fact you mentioned in the rec, that they were more varied and "professional" than Sid Vicious & Co. I'm not a Punk, but I can say that the true Punks have been, are, and will be the Ramones and The Clash... PS: I don't know all of "London Calling," but it deserves a 4 just for the title track!

And if your intention was to make people laugh by putting "britpop" as the genre, well, you didn't succeed... at least not with me... Good job, nice rec... really!

Iside, do you know what commas are? No, because when you write, nothing makes sense; a person has to read everything in one breath...

Hi Greg, how's it going? Thank you!
Ramones Mondo Bizarro

I agree, the Ramones are the Punk... they invented Punk... But why does this album have an Italian title "Mondo Bizarro"?

Thank you, Lewis! Unfortunately, the little shop near my house has gone out of business... and the girl who worked there would definitely have found it for me... now if I want to buy a record, CD, VHS, DVD, I have to go to big stores like Feltrinelli... what do you think, can I find this record there?

ZiOn, I know the Floyd were pioneers (in every sense), but I didn't know this about the Moog in "A Soucerful Secret"... or at least I don't remember... But, excuse me, do you mean in the whole album or just in the eponymous composition?

DeGeneri: Experimental Electronic Dance ___ in '68??? It wasn't impossible in those years (not due to technological reasons, because if we look closely, certain sounds come naturally without resorting to digital technologies, but more due to a matter of "fashion"... during that magical period, sound magic called Psychedelia was in vogue... and reading Electronic Dance while talking about '68 makes me shiver a bit (since electronics aren't particularly liked...) but it also lifts me up a bit; at least I've learned I'm not crazy when I say: "The '60s were the most revolutionary decade..." Lewis, if you keep this up, I might end up printing your photo from MyDeb and sticking it next to those of the Beatles, Who, Jim Morrison, and Syd Barrett... in other words, you’ll become a full-fledged idol for me... a full-fledged idol because you already are!

Ah, so if we're talking about LPs, it's a bit of everything that's hard to find. For example, a few months ago I happened to see at Feltrinelli a reissue (or at least I think it was a reissue) on vinyl of the Beatles' "White Album." Meanwhile, in a little shop that sells collectibles, I saw editions from various countries of "The Piper..." by Pink Floyd and other great bands from that era.

From the smile, I understood that she was being ironic, but that it was directed at me and not at My_Generation... Anyway, I'm sorry if I misunderstood you, and thank you for the vote.
