I don't give a damn that they pick up the chicks with dance and house music; I value music.... I'll take the chicks my own way... dear ZiOn.

Cool, you see that you’re the one who doesn’t understand... I said "rap isn’t music," but I meant for me. If you think I’m just talking crap, read my last 3 or 4 posts carefully, and you’ll understand. I've always said that the real rap was from the late '80s and '90s, the kind that Will Smith did in that TV show "The Fresh Prince...," but what I despise is the stuff from recent times, which is no longer a form of protest, but an exploitation by the majors to make tons of money, so that any idiot can do rap. Clear examples are Eminem, or here in Italy Flaminio Maphia, Fabri Fibra, and this rotten world (that you all said is a jerk...).

It seems to me that every time the bullshit for you is always the same, that is: for me, rap is not music. Now you will surely tell me "you've said another load of crap!!!" (when it's always the same phrase)...

Sure, talking about these things virtually is difficult, we need to talk about them in person... so I believe we'll understand each other.

Adriano Bernard, do you want me to justify all my crap? Alright. I told you I had the opportunity to hang out with some rappers, one of whom is my friend. And I saw how they gesture, how they think (they are racist towards women, meaning women should be subservient to sex, so no feelings for women. Now, don't tell me it's not true; look at the lyrics of Fabri Fibra...), everything they say is accompanied by an unpleasant gesture and a rhyme... should I continue? Now let’s move on to the MUSICALITY OF RAP: in the school where I study music, when we do theory and solfeggio, we take the liberty of making references to various types of music. So, of course, we talk about Classical music, then about Rock, and even the commercial Dance you hate so much, while, interestingly enough, the music teacher, to help us better understand a theoretical concept, doesn’t refer to rap... how do you explain that? Is she incapable of teaching music? NO. The answer is that rap has nothing musical about it. I admit I said something stupid like rap can’t give sensations; let’s say I was speaking for myself, it might excite others... that's where I was wrong. But regarding the fact that rap isn't music, understood like Classical, Rock, and a bit of dance (I don’t like dance, but I hate house...), I think I’m right.

And growing mentally means listening to a puppet that makes rhymes (at the expense of Italy's misfortunes), now also censored? (I'm talking about Fabri Fibra). That's fine, think what you want, it's fair enough, but I won't change my mind about rap, because if for you growing mentally or musically means listening to a guy who makes rhymes, for me it's a step backward, considering that for my age I'm already quite ahead listening to Prog Rock. The number of 19-year-olds who listen to Prog can be counted on one hand.

Ah! And anyway, I'm not a metalhead (even though I don't mind some metal bands...)
