The Hollies For Certain Because

The review is a bit short (just like I write!) but good. I haven't listened to the album yet, but with the little I know them, I believe it will be a good record.
"stefania marchi" you say the Hollies and the Beatles suck... do you happen to listen to that crap called House Music (if you can even call it music...)? or Nek? or Laura Pausini? or Britney Spears? Because (they may be tastes) those who talk like that don’t understand anything about music... but the real music... I can accept that you don't like them, but I won't accept that they suck... they have contributed to the development of music, and even today, singers and bands draw inspiration from them.

You are right to say that I provided few details. Dear "giorrrrrgio," it's true that these are the last names of the members, but at the same time the group has that same designation... so I don’t think it's wrong to put the article in front...!
THANK YOU FOR BEING HONEST AND FOR COMING BY THIS WAY
FOR THE NEXT REVIEW I WILL DO BETTER. BYE!!!

One should make comparisons with people of the same caliber... and Lennon and Syd are not. Syd, since he looked ahead compared to John (which is not true at all; Lennon also thought about Peace, what could be more forward-looking than that?!), should be compared (even though Barrett doesn't need to be compared to anyone... he is UNIQUE just as John Lennon is UNIQUE!) to Alice Cooper (who is also not entirely sane!).

Great album!!!! "Whole Lotta Love" - "Heartbreaker" - "Thank You" - "What Is And What Should Never Be" (a very sensual piece!) and "Moby Dick" by Bonzo are timeless songs (the rest of the album is great too...). Dear Alch, the review is very good, but... yes, there is a but... you must take into account that you’re talking about an album that’s 30 years old and it's not nice to use the word "CD," it's better to say "LP" for a classic record (and it’s even worse to say it for today’s albums... but it fits them even more!).

I haven't listened to the album yet, and I think I'll download it this evening! Charles, I'll rate the review only after I've listened to the album. I hope that "Barrett" gives me the same feeling that "The Piper..." and "A Saucerful Of Secrets" gave me.....reading all your discussion, it's hard to draw a conclusion.....anyway, this album certainly won't be like when Syd was with the Floyd. SYD, YOU'RE A LEGEND!!!!
The Beatles Help!
Voto:
Very good review... but it doesn’t seem to be written about "Help" much at all, rather about "Yesterday." Don’t pay attention to this "Scaruffi"... I am a passionate Beatles fan (but also of other groups!) and it annoys me to read derogatory things about them (in fact, I haven’t read anything of what he writes...). I wouldn’t exactly define this album as one of the high points of the "Fab Four," but it is certainly an album worth buying and keeping on your shelf. "The Night Before" - "Another Girl" - Harrison's naive composition "I Need You" - the melancholic "You've Got To Hide Away" (in the DVDs of the "Anthology," which I highly recommend purchasing, there’s a segment where the Fab recount the death of Brian Epstein, and at the moment they show the images to remember him, this very song plays, so it doesn’t get much more melancholic than that!) - "Ticket To Ride" - "Help!" and the immortal (they’ll still be listening to it a thousand years from now) "Yesterday" make up the album; the others are good. You know... I believe that "Yesterday" has nothing to do with the material contained in this album... A little anecdote that you probably already know... "Yesterday" was initially supposed to be released as a single credited only to Paul, but then they decided to release it under the name of "The Beatles."

I don't understand... can I create both an artist ranking and a list of albums, or only one of the two? Sorry, but can I do it directly from my profile or do I have to send it anyway?

Great album.....great Doors....great Jim.....
Imagine if instead of Bush, John Lennon were presiding over America and here in Italy instead of that......of Berlusconi there was Jim....wouldn't that be magnificent???? Too bad...but unfortunately there are no longer either of them. The review is good.
