Interpol Turn On The Bright Lights
Voto:
The Interpol are obsessed with Joy Division, especially the singer and the bassist (those unmistakable piercing bass lines - à la Hook - like in "Obstacle 1"). However, out of all the "NME-cover bands," they are the only ones that fascinate me. Lyrics, imagery, guitar parts: I love it all.

"friends don't waste wine when there's words to sell"....great album
James Taylor Dad Loves His Work
Voto:
I'm not a huge fan of Taylor, but the way you present her albums is always interesting: I actually liked the others more. I've never listened to this one, but the cover is really ugly!
Elton John The Fox

Malgioglio is better. Comparing him to Bowie is an insult.
Guns n' Roses Use Your Illusion II
Voto:
"The area in which the Guns have been unmatched is definitely the covers... this is surely the pearl of the review."

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Requiem
Voto:
Putting this review on display and keeping it for a while seems to be the least that the editors can do to give value to this writing.

I haven't read "Journey to the End of the Night" yet, I haven't found the temple yet. "Death on Credit" is, however, one of my favorite novels, and your review is an additional motivation for me to finally read it. Well done.
Oasis Don't Believe The Truth
Voto:
"Anyway, the Velvet Underground and Oasis are not only highly comparable, but I would even say that Oasis might be better." I haven't even read anything like that on NME....
