THE REVIEW

This time we can truly say: "the Oasis are back" (or maybe they never left?).

The album opens with "Turn up the sun", a great track, engaging and exhilarating, written by the bassist Andy Bell. "Mucky fingers" might seem like a track from the best of Velvet Underground... instead... "Lyla" is somewhat of a disappointment, firstly the choice of releasing it as the first single is questionable, a song with an easy chorus, surely sung with the support of 50,000 people it’s another thing, but...

"Love like a bomb" Liam showcases his voice in the best possible way, filling the gaps in the song. "The importance of being idle" is the pearl of the album, surely the most beautiful song aired on the radio or on MTV from 2000 to today. PERFECT. "The meaning of soul" written by Liam, gritty, short, and without frills. "Guess god thinks I'm able" also written by an increasingly inspired Liam, a song that when performed live gains in psychedelia. "Part of the queue" Noel has grown, you can feel it here too, perhaps the least Oasis-like song on the album. Excellent. "Keep the dream alive" the bassist delivers another great song. Power to the guitars.

"A bell will ring" written by guitarist Gem Archer, already presented in the previous tour, nothing new, but pleasant. Excellent drum part. "Let there be love" may be a banal song, but Liam and Noel splitting the song is an event. To a fan of theirs, it's a track that gives goosebumps...

For me, great Oasis, thank goodness for you guys, and I say it with conviction.

The hopes of those (almost) everyone can safely be said to have been repaid in the best way.

'Turn Up The Sun'—a jewel of the album, showing the band’s change and harder, engaging sound.

This is a MILESTONE, people, a MILESTONE.

'Turn Up The Sun'... perhaps the best opening track in rock history.

Oasis hit the mark by producing an album that contains just one thing: ROCK!

‘Let There Be Love’ ... The alternating voices of the brothers make it all more magical.

"The tracks are more 'stripped down' compared to the good old days, but still always direct and sincere."

"Don't Believe... represents hope for the future with all four band members writing songs."

By Abel

"I think 'don’t believe...' is a beautiful album that recalls the carefree spirit of 'Definitely Maybe' while innovating with original songs."

‘‘It’s unacceptable to dismiss with quick insults a band that has contributed so much to rock music over two decades.’
