Thank you all for the comments: I just put a few pieces of a mosaic that speaks for itself... I completely agree with Enea's judgment on Edith's art. @Hal: Je ne regrette rien is my favorite... @mopaga: I think they are two different levels...

@Gabbox. Thank you for the comment and the suggestions, I honestly wasn't aware of Ball's solo album, I'll have to check it out...@mike and ramona. This album is truly worth listening to, it's the perfect next step after "Cabaret,"

@colossal unfortunately you know little about Soft Cell, otherwise you would know that often the most regular patrons of certain places are not the "little fags hooked on ecstasy and poppers" (evidently Mussolini and Sgarbi have set an example), but rather family men and unsuspecting macho types: precisely the ones who, to divert suspicion from themselves, fire off phrases like yours......

well..in vino veritas: apart from a few too many superlatives, a passionate and knowledgeable review. Honestly, I prefer the previous album; here only on moon in june are the pitfalls of certain wordiness avoided...it remains an outstanding work nonetheless.

Will our very talented reviewer not dedicate too much time to reviews, to the detriment of homework?

We should review "the dark side of the spoon" by Ministry... I think it's more fun, right?

Thank you for the comments and greetings to Sabotino, who I assume is also a fan of West Coast and such, like the good Mister No and Massimof... well, Mopaga, it truly moves me that you liked the album; it’s one of those records I could never do without... I agree on the topic of sadness: it’s certainly melancholic enough. I wouldn't want to have given the impression that it's too sad of an album; on the contrary, it’s the classic record to listen to if your heart is in pieces. A bit like the glue of Cobain's memory, but much more effective: a "song full of hope," indeed, like the vision of the rainbow driving away the black clouds in "Because of You." If you take a trip on the Californian highways, give me a shout, though...
