Thanks for the comments. To respond to punisher and bubu, there is definitely some bitter satire and some interesting moments of discomfort (as I wrote), but on one hand, they felt a bit familiar, and on the other hand, my view is that the conclusions seemed quite out of place. This is strictly my personal opinion. As for cleo, maybe you’re right; the fault of "american beauty" is that it spawned even more ridiculous and pretentious epigones (see Le varie Muccineidi...), but it doesn’t seem to be the only case. Bartleboom, what observations made you reflect?

It must be said, however, that Eddie Vedder was quite annoyed by that situation; he opened the concert solo with "the kids are all right" and introduced the fastbacks with the utmost respect, hoping to avoid the stoning that happened the day before in Rome, but they were also bottle thrown at there...

listened to so many times together with "the cycle is complete": while the latter is pervaded by a sense of imminent catharsis, in "Skip" I find a despair, a piercing claustrophobia, a tender and excruciating retreat into oneself...truly splendid work!
