It's a masterpiece. Insult it whenever you want, in the meantime it has opened unexpected doors abroad for many Italian metal bands! Now Rhapsody have become a parody of themselves. They had created their own original sound, now they don't know how to get out of it, they are trapped in their music!

I know half of the album or just a bit more, and that half is really beautiful! Together with legendary tales, it’s the best. I think Rhapsody only need a maximum of 2 albums, because after that, especially in the last albums, they just imitate themselves!

Yes, absolutely, it's your business. Aphex Twin certainly has innovative ideas, but in my opinion, they don't have the same influence and impact as the music of Pink Floyd, which has influenced not only rock, but also various other musical currents. You can find Pink Floyd almost everywhere, from rock to metal, to electronic, to pop, to new wave. We'll see in the future if Aphex will have this power too!

killgod it seems bold to compare aphex twin to the pink floyd. You may prefer the former, but the pink floyd have had more importance and influence in music than aphex twin, there is no doubt about that!

What bullshit I’m reading. Nick coming to interrupt every metal review to recommend Coltrane (what the hell does that have to do with Opeth?), heron who just because he doesn't listen to metal in another review claims that he has now downplayed Opeth (what kind of argument is that? A band that plays metal can be as avant-garde as a post-rock band; the important thing is not to limit oneself) and that for him they are technically inferior to many groups. What does that mean? Is a musical group appreciated only for its technique or is it perhaps that the emotions it conveys no longer bring joy? People with blinders on!

great masterpiece! It amazed me from the first listen and continues to this day. Deep emotions thrown in the listener's face, with Akerfeldt's growl that would convince even those who don't love this vocal style, which is however alternated with clean singing.

a beautiful transitional album, a bit immature and uncertain about the direction to take in some parts. Exciting and well-composed songs and a great cover (hope). But I find it distinctly inferior to the two CDs that follow and perhaps even to the previous one. Still a bit inaccurate!
