Killing Joke Night Time

First of all, I would like to thank all the friends who attended.
@Vivis: I'm sorry, I can't tell you much about the latest KJ, except for what Qzerty rightly mentioned. I plan to listen to it soon.
@Alex: don't worry, I'm not stealing your review of Brighter... ;-D.
One last remark for the one who considers himself a great music critic, namely Scaruffi, but who, in reality, hides little beneath his pompous words.
This review is also dedicated to you... (look at what he had the courage to write about the KJ).
Greetings to all.

No Emanuele, I'm sorry, but I absolutely disagree with many things you've written. This debut from the Finnish combo, while pleasant to listen to, is definitely the least successful of Holopainen and company, also due to the not-so-great production and the almost adolescent age of the band, as you yourself mentioned. The best tracks, in my opinion, can be found in the subsequent "Oceanborn" (rating 4), in the penultimate and very beautiful "Century Child" (rating 5), and in the equally beautiful last album "Once" (rating 5) (in this regard, listen to the emotional and heartbreaking "Ghost Love Score," for example). This debut and the third album "Wishmaster," in my opinion, are both three-star albums. I also disagree with the constant references to power metal, which is barely present in this work; it's more gothic metal (and not, as you wrote, power-pop). Not to mention the comparison to the Stratos, which, in my judgment, is not very accurate. Nightwish, in my opinion, are a great band, and this is especially thanks to the melodies of the keyboardist, who I believe is one of the best in metal, and not, as some might think, because of Tarja's physical appearance, who was recently kicked out by the rest of the group. Sorry Emanuele, the review is well-written, but I must rate it poorly due to a significant difference of opinion regarding the band and the album in question.

Sexy, I have to confess something to you. Sometimes you are truly unbearable, but your photo with the "sexydebaser" t-shirt is really funny, and for that, you've gained a lot of points ;)

P.S.: I didn't want to take away space from Savatage; I wanted to make this comment here and not on your review of your group (Pandaemonium) to maybe pique the curiosity of some latecomers to read it. I hope you'll send me your platter for free because of this ;-D

So Mista, let’s set aside Savatage for a moment, of which I know little and that little hasn’t interested me. I went to your band's official website and found it really well done. I also checked out the Agglutination website, and damn, I had no idea that bands like Overkill, Vicious Rumours, Ancient, Vision Divine had made a "stop" down south. The fact that you play there indicates that your group has gained significant importance. Since one of my childhood dreams was to become a famous singer and guitarist (like Hetfield, to be clear), it’s great to connect with a member of a local band that, from what I see on the site and from the news I've read, has carved out a little niche in the local metal scene. However, Mista, you'll forgive me, but with all the goodwill in the world, epic power has completely bored me, and I find it hard to rekindle an interest in this genre. Unless you tell me that your style diverges from the traditional to lean towards the sound of bands like, for example, Edguy, who have constantly evolved their way of playing to the point that they can no longer even be considered a power band. (Listen to the latest Rocket Ride to believe it—it's a mix of hard rock, AOR, and some faster tracks reminiscent of Helloween.) If, on the other hand, you're fully oriented towards the symphonic style like Rhapsody, sorry my friend, but I have definitively closed the door on that genre. Still, this does not change the deep respect I have for guys like you and your band who play at a certain level.

RJD YOU MADE ME PEE MYSELF LAUGHING..
Getting back to us, nice and quite interesting review.
At the time, they were indeed quite underrated by the music critics.
This is what kept me from being very interested in the English combo..
After all, I’m quite skeptical about the thrash from that period not played in the Bay Area of S. Francisco.

Sorry, Sanjuro, but your response speaks for itself.
In other words, it's just a provocation..
Anyway, if you want to continue the discussion, reply to one of my reviews.
I would hate to take up more space on this beautiful review with unrelated arguments..
