So, this review is really nice, maybe the best one on the home page. The band you're talking about piques my curiosity, even though bands that indirectly reference Sabbath like Kyuss or Monster Magnet (which I must admit, I don't know much about) have never really captivated me. I prefer those, like Cathedral, who still today offer us a more direct and less contaminated Sabbath-like sound. But in life, you never know…

Great review Aniel, in line with the latest ones.

Well, Fest, X Factor may be better than the horrific Virtual XI, but I find it a mediocrity and monotony worthy of an Oscar.
In my opinion, after the first two with Di Anno (which are very beautiful and historic), the best album of the Dickinson era is Somewhere in Time which, I’ll tell you honestly, I like even more than the self-titled debut and Killers.
But with Blaze, I only have fond memories of when he was in Wolfsbane, who played a kind of Southern hard rock that wasn't bad at all.

Oh my God, Fest, about Judas I don't know since I haven't listened to the albums without Rob Halford (but I doubt they're better than Painkiller or Screaming For Vengeance anyway), but regarding Maiden, what you said just doesn't hold up, unless you’re referring to the switch from Di Anno to Dickinson, which could make sense.
But when Dickinson left and Blaze arrived, Maiden released two of the most mediocre metal albums in history, especially "Virtual XI," which is horrifically ugly, truly unlistenable (not to mention the absolutely garish package, it's chilling).
If you want, Fest, I'll give them to you so you can tell me… ;)

Ocram, I just hope that one day you and vinsex don’t find yourselves doing a joint review, otherwise I won't have enough spare time to read it... :)

Great Adam, I totally agree. This album is of a mediocrity that perhaps even surpasses the last and useless Keeper bla bla bla. Andi Deris isn't worth a hair on Kiske's ass. I'm giving it a 2 just in honor of the old times. Personal opinions, obviously!

I would like to chime in.
Well, first of all, it would be superfluous and obvious to compliment Odra on the beauty and depth of her writings; everyone knows that.
Regarding the quarrel between you and Punny, it seems to me that your reaction was a bit exaggerated, Odra, and, in my opinion, it stemmed from the resentment you felt towards Punny for past events (although I also fundamentally agree with what you said about the kids who, in some way, would be encouraged to write nonsense).
I’d also like to share my thoughts on the much-discussed distinction between Serie A and Serie B.
It doesn't take a sage to assert that such classification is simply a discretionary choice of the editors, and honestly, I find it unfair that it is passed off as a matter of fact.
Personally, I don’t care at all that my reviews are systematically published on the right, but, and I say this not out of pride, I don’t feel inferior at all to anyone who reviews perpetually on the left.
So let’s always remember that the distinction is made based on discretionary criteria (in this sense, I was able to ascertain that some reviews published on the left were, in my opinion, subpar) and not objective ones. Best regards.
