I'm sorry, Mjolner, but I couldn't care less about all this neopagan bullshit and other nonsense, so I won't discuss it (even though from what I've read, it could easily be dismissed as crap). But tell me, honestly, are you pure blacksters at heart and in body, or are you just pretending? Or, better yet, do you all really believe in this crap, or are you just 15 years old? Because in the second scenario, it would be concerning. Some time ago, I dealt with someone like you who said that black metal wasn't suitable for women because it was the purest musical form (implicitly saying that women were impure). Now you come out with these derogatory statements against homosexuals. Explain to me, do you all come off as assholes on purpose, or is it just a lack of affection?

Forgive me, Omega, if I insist (and please don’t take it the wrong way, but there's no need to get heated), but I found your comparison completely out of place, that’s all. In general, I believe it’s wrong to make nonsensical comparisons between bands that have practically nothing in common. I could counter that the New York Dolls or David Bowie were already wearing makeup long before Robert Smith, and that Black Sabbath were talking about magical and esoteric rites long before (and better than) Iron Maiden, but certainly I wouldn’t do that to discredit The Cure and Maiden, both of which I like a lot (obviously not their entire discography). So, in my opinion, your comparison is totally off for this reason.

Let me clarify my comment. I wanted to say that Him, whether you like them or not, have nothing to do with Gothic Metal, absolutely nothing, and my friend fjell can attest to that. It's not about makeup or talking about the devil, because it's clear that the Cure or Maiden have nothing to do with Him, so I would avoid making absurd comparisons that make no sense at all. Regards.

I haven't listened to the album, but I clearly remember that the specialist press of the time branded it as a big piece of junk.

Yes, yes, we really need another pair of one.

In the intense heat, reviews of black metal bands proliferate, which, among other things, and perhaps precisely because of the genre, are practically all alike.

I have to admit that I know the group little, but enough to confidently state that the sentence you wrote, "But the recurring themes of the twelve tracks present are love and dying of love. The musical genre of this group was initially called Gothic Metal and it quickly became its main European representative, if not worldwide...," in my opinion, corresponds to a galactic foolishness.

Maximum respect for the band, but I also think that Slayer ends with that masterpiece, Seasons in the Abyss.

Thank you so much, Fjell, your judgment makes me happy even though I consider it, perhaps, a tad exaggerated. Maybe I am as descriptive as you say (perhaps too much), but I certainly don't write with the same pathos and passion that you do. I say this with utmost sincerity.
