Colle Der Fomento ODIO PIENO

I remember other beautiful tracks from the hill dating back to around '98, like "vita" and "il cielo su roma"........say what you will, but driving around with the latter track while cruising by the Circo Massimo is perfect........Zion knows what I mean.
Emerson, Lake & Palmer Brain Salad Surgery

Porcupine Tree In Absentia
Voto:
Antò, tell me something: I have to say that in absentia is pleasant, but for me, who loves the "old" Porcupine Tree, it has never felt natural to familiarize myself with the post-coma divine period, and apart from the album I reviewed, I only know a few tracks from that period. So, what should I get? Stupid Dreams? Lightbulb Sun? Or the same Deadwing? Thank you!

Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark The Best Of
Voto:
Yes, okay, I can’t deny that synth-pop has its evocative and very appealing side, and let’s be honest: who doesn’t enjoy listening to these catchy tunes?..... I only know the good old "Enola Gay," but still, it’s a good mention, Fabbiu, even though I’m always for the disco and not the best of. However, for these artists, maybe the latter is better…..
The Trashmen Surfin' Bird
Voto:
Absolutely fantastic! And for me, the use of "Surfin' Bird" by Kubrick in Full Metal Jacket remains monumental, especially during the scene where the camera moves capturing all the soldiers crouched down on the ground... in short, hats off to the Trashmen! Great review, Lewis, you always dig up the most interesting classics. That one on "Paperback Writer" by the 4 Beetles was great too...
The Beatles Paperback Writer b/w Rain
