NO BASSISTS: don’t buy it!!! When you hear Mark King, you’ll burn your bass, because it’ll seem pointless to keep playing it! ;).........Anyway, great review, Jethro, just one thing: wasn’t it love games instead of lessons in love? As for the album, I don’t know; I’ve never really delved into it, maybe I thought it wasn’t worth it after all(!): Have I been wrong all along? Should I start from this album, maybe? Gracias ;)

No, the name is ganzo, come on;).......damn sylvian, you beat me to it, I was doing it too! (Alfrè, we are two....). Rather well done, just a couple of things: I don't quite agree with the parallel to the love: the two bands are different - not to mention forever changes, which remains one of the best things ever made in music in the "pop" realm.........It should also be noted that the record label that produced this album (I unfortunately don't remember which one) initially had no intention of doing it: then the good Al Green came along, who was struck by "time of the season" and got it played on the radio. It became very successful and thus the record label decided to produce the album properly. In general, this record, which is also beautiful, remains perhaps the best example of "baroque pop" along with pet sound............The Beatles, on the other hand, are very different, both from the beach boys and especially from the zombies. The Argent-White duo remains one of the pairs that has surprised me the most in my career as a record listener. Saludos!

I only know along the edges (beautiful)......the review is okay, it could have been more in-depth, maybe ;)

short and effective review. Well done. I don't know the album, but it inspires a bit of fear.......;)

It seems that I really need to give a full listen to this record... everyone is talking about it, and the reviews here on Debaser will probably keep rising (but let’s not do that like with the Arctic Monkeys, for heaven's sake!!). Anyway, the little I've heard seemed nothing more than pleasant, not to mention Albarn's live voice... The review you set up is on an interesting level... mmmm, yes, 4!
