If you think like that... it means you don't know what nu-metal is? Actually, I ask you... give me a valid definition! =?????? Then I would like to ask you... how does a bassist with the technique he has (I hope you've at least noticed this BY LISTENING to the CD) end up playing nu-metal!???

(for cliff) Cliff, the thing is that...in this group (especially on this album) you can't really say much...I mean...with certainty what style they play.....but they themselves say they can't categorize themselves.....I can tell you they play metal (very generally)....and I can also tell you that all four of them listen to a lot of jazz and that kind of music in addition to metal......in fact, they're very technical (I don't know if you've ever seen them live...they're amazing)...and they make most of their songs very intricate...odd time signatures...all sorts of things....they have many influences.....

(as a response to Nick) so I listen to metal but I'm not one of those who only watches and listens to what seems good to him... I can give you opinions on many other things and types of music... I love brutal... but I can't help but say that the most technical music is jazz... and things like that...
