1) If a metalhead or rocker doesn't want to read about Madonna because they think she's musically crap, they can skip the reading without leaving superficial judgments filled with swearing and a poor understanding of the Italian language.

2) Serious pop music is just as valid as rock; to judge it as "useless" is ignorant. I recommend reading something about Andy Warhol, as well as about musical aesthetics and beyond, to develop a more open and prejudice-free understanding of art.

3) I listen to a lot of music, mainly pop and pop-rock, as well as some forays into rock, in addition to classical music. I don't set limits on my desire for knowledge: considering everything that is pop as low, inferior, or useless really just wastes time.

Well, if you say so. For me, the only "fresh" album was Dookie. But maybe I'm attached to it for "sentimental" reasons. It was fun and marked an era. However, it's been years since I listened to it and I don’t feel the need to. Moreover, this album has been reviewed a thousand times. It doesn’t seem like there’s a need to talk about it so much!
