damn what a wonderful record....the review is beautiful too....the death & resurrection show would be the perfect soundtrack for a movie set in a dark jungle among vines and voodoo rituals with jaz coleman and dave grohl dressed as cannibals....that's how I imagine the scene...there are always too few records like this unfortunately!!!!

Santa Claus, I've even reread your musings... thinking a lot, and I've also read all these other exaggerations from teenagers 13 and so on. However, it seems to me that instead of staying tied to the fun that this record transmits in itself, instead of having a couple of laughs trying to remember all the nonsense done to the sound of "the Cause" or "heart is yearning"... we're veering into discussions that have nothing to do with it!!!... "Punk in Drublic" is super cool and it really is a record for fools, but if it's true, as it is true, that at 16 as at 35 you remain, in the end, a fool-kid... well, I’m the first one... who still sings "Scavenger Type" at parties with the guitar, getting hyped up as always!!! Grohl never fails to move me... I find the beginning of CD no. 1 stunning; at times it sounds like Killing Joke (with whom Grohl played drums on their latest great album)... I find the rest a bit lackluster, but nothing from the new Foo compares to The Colour & the Shape... instead, the second disc is emotional and warm... different... a love... I’m starting to savor it little by little... Grohl, you’re too great, you never miss... see you in Milan...
