When Lateralus was released, everyone criticized it because, compared to Aenima, it was too "thought-out" and less instinctive. Now there's 10,000 Days and the idiots say it's really not much given that they compare it to the previous albums. This is 10,000 Days: take it or leave it.

I hadn't expressed my thoughts on the album in question for a simple reason: I needed to fully absorb it. Now that I have, I can say with certainty that this is an album of infinite beauty. And if the "stoopid" make comparisons to various Lateralus and Aenima, then I dare say, you Tool fans have never understood a damn thing.

I had never really shared my thoughts on 10,000 Days simply because I needed time to listen to it and fully absorb it. Now I can offer a first assessment. The album is good, I would even say excellent, but obviously, when compared to Lateralus or Aenima, it loses several points. One has to be careful not to make constant comparisons with the older works. This is 10,000 Days: take it or leave it.

The best remains Waking The Fallen, then comes this one you reviewed. Besides these two albums, for me A7X no longer exists. City Of Evil disappointed me a lot.

Dear Matt, I admit that your review is quite exhaustive, although I don't agree with some small things. First of all, I didn't hype a piece of garbage as a masterpiece; I just said what I think. Not what others think, what I think, you understand? I think they can't play; Taylor is not good at all, and generally, the other members of Slipknot give me the impression of playing "by force," of being bad "by force." However, from Slipknot (a band that, I repeat, doesn't excite me at all), I expected a terrible, terrible, terrible live performance. Instead, I was surprised because, despite the various flaws, it's a much better live show than other bands. Period.
