Beautiful argument, Don, honestly. Of course, everyone (or almost everyone) has experienced these kinds of feelings and recognized them in certain songs, which were and are and perhaps will be fast food. This album was that way when it came out; it certainly had something to say and wanted to say it to as many people as possible, who were still not born. What remains is the surface of emotions, that is, what everyone reaches. Poetry enters you and touches chords you didn’t even know you had and stimulates a series of thoughts/reactions you had never experienced before. De André was a poet, the first De Gregori... Vasco Rossi, no. Vasco Rossi is the sexy little comedy of the '70s, while the music of true Artists is like the films of Pasolini or Fellini. Zucchero and Jovanotti are excellent points of comparison with Vasco; they play the same game. Jovanotti perhaps with a higher tone, but Art is really elsewhere.

I didn't like it at all... in a nutshell, a flood of quotations (some out of place) and not a word about the Metaphysical Circus (which will eventually become). I don't know, maybe the heat makes me appreciate only Sprizz, but I truly don't understand the need for a review like this for such a wonder...

He took the measurements for the next two masterpieces... beautiful review. I bought the Fruit Tree box set with the three vinyl records and the documentary DVD last week. As for the fact that he wasn’t a sad person... of course he loved life and that's precisely why he was sad, because around him he didn’t see many people with that sensitivity... Beautiful "review" anyway.

Practically perfect review. I agree 110% with you on your opinions about the various albums, even though I believe I will like the latest one much more than Takk and Von... it has something intriguing that I haven't decoded yet. In 13 days I will be at the Arena in Milan to see them, and maybe there I'll understand whether I like it or not... still great job on the page. Among the recommended...

Maybe... and I say maybe, here it still made sense... then however those who die young were his friends, and he went on unperturbed to write fart jokes... then, having expelled all the flatulence, he simply limited himself to singing the farts that others wrote for him. In '81 this album fit right in... listened to now it serves like a radiator in the desert...
