Good morning... I only knew Kicks (from the Nuggets or the Pebbles, I don't remember). Then one day, my "father-in-law" arrives with a batch of American records he bought. As I sift through them, out pops this (mono) and a compilation. I take them home and start listening, and the first thing that comes to mind is, "but why the hell aren't these a foundation for sixties music..."

Please... Piero Pelouche should step back. He gave his all until Pirata, where he swallowed the bitter pill and hasn't been able to get it to go either up or down since. aaaahhaahaa earthquaaaaake!

I have a super worn C90 with them on side B and the Meat Puppets on side A. I have a chest full of them in my parents' basement. I don't know where to keep them. The first time I go down to dinner at their place, I look inside and hope to find it. If I manage to pull it off, I’ll come back and even vote for the record... old-timers... hi hi hi. I wasn't even of legal age yet and I had my C90 speculator, it held more stuff... damn nice.

A heartfelt thank you to all those present. @Don... I tried the experiment, I lined them up one after the other, adjusted the volume, and shot them while deep in the couch. They are truly consequential... try it.

For certain "things," there are no votes expressive enough. I bought the book+DVD with his broadcasts. They are difficult to understand for linguistic reasons, but there are translations. Some give you chills... very good. I MUST look for the original, because these are things to have and to pass down to future generations... they also serve to not forget.

Holy shit, what a nice little group of crazies. I remember when I used to walk around with my cassette walkman headphones over my wool hat (underneath they gave me the beginnings of burns on my ears) and people would look at me for what I was... clearly sleeping with the headphones on led to a couple of near strangulations and various thousands of euros in damages to headphones and players. One night I fell asleep with "Cody" by Mogwai. "Ex-Cowboy" woke me up, making me think about the end of the world. Since then, I've had a bit of "fear" when it comes to mixing headphones and blankets. Great psycho page... I'll try to queue these up too.

Finally, it has arrived from the USA... I can't wait to listen to it with that magical crackle...

Nice review... I don't know, I only have the sidecar. I'm going a bit against the tide, White Light is a wonderful album, but I prefer If I Could... by David Crosby. As for the Byrds, I think I've already said that McGuinn is McGuinn... and then he played/composed with Clark and Crosby, so it's clear why they were more fundamental than anyone for the music made in the USA.
