Apart from the incredibly useful comments from Yosif... :-))) I think the release of this album is trapped, space-time-wise, between the two masterpieces of the genre, CODY by Mogwai (1999) and Yanqui UXO by Godspeed (2001). They are good, but they have always (a bit too much) been riding the coattails... like Mono, just to be clear. Good job.

I don't know who is better; for me, it varies. Right now, I prefer Claudio Rocchi, but also Gaetano, Gianco, De Andrè, De Gregori, Battiato, Sorrenti, Graziani, Battisti, Tenco, Ciampi, a bit of Conte, Faust'o, Gaber, Fossati, Finardi, Lolli... come on, we have plenty. I occasionally try too, but I just can't get into Bugo...
