Thank you for the kind words, kosmo... I lost track of Umberto many years ago, but for a couple of seasons, I was his shadow whenever he played in Milan and the surrounding areas.

For me, it's also his absolute masterpiece. The eponymous album and Rimmel are just a notch below. But I think we’re talking about sublime records here.

I apologize in advance for the date of Alice Non Lo Sa, which is not 72 but the year after. However, this is what is indicated on my CD reissue. I sprinkle ashes on my head. Sorry.

Ah... it seemed obvious to include Sonic Youth. I believe that anyone who has bought a couple of amplifiers for their guitar since the nineties has had to reckon with them.

the season was fantastic for me (and I believe for many others my age) and there were records like this that sounded fresh and on par with what was coming out around the world. I saw Umberto at the Tunnel in Milan in '96 (still in a trio formation) and it was one of the most intense concerts I've ever seen. now I don't really like his new proposal much...

I also think that Gambadilegno is a beautiful piece that comes out of some old drawer. However, it is true that for a few years now, our artist hasn’t been producing beautiful albums from start to finish.

Dear Nathan... I'm sorry if I wrote nonsense, but I base my thoughts on the data I find on the disks... on the CD reissue I have in my hands, it says 72... what can I say... some discographies even say 74...
